Hello people~ Haha.. This post is going to be another long one. Finally have something to talk about. It's been quite long. Actually still okay la. =X Raja, the king, had his birthday on wednesday. Wanted to celebrate with him as a class but he ran away and said he doesn't need it. But then, what awaits him was something unexpected! =P We planned a Birthday celebration the next day for him! Before maths, which starts at 3, was around 1 or 2 hours or break. We had time so we went to tp's bistro cafe to get a cake for him. Wei ru, Winston, Joshua, Ruby noona and me went around to get stuff for the birthday celebration. Instead of getting cake, we got him brownie! So tempting but it's not mine, means I don't get to eat it. =X Then, we went to get a TP polo tee and a birthday card for him! Noona bought a graduation card -.- and no choice, we wrote happy birthday below it and everyone wrote their well wishes for him. The whole card was full of words! LQ said that my signature is nice. ^^ So happy =P Alright, below are the photos!

It's a sunday and it means school tmr =_= It's going to be a 2 weeks chaos for me. Test this friday for 2 subjects, term test soon. Assignment due dates arriving. Oh man.. Haha.. Got to chiong. Anyway, after Noona's(Ruby-shi) introduction to some korean drama she watched, I got addicted to it!
People who are FT Island's fan should be aware of this drama, called 'You're Beautiful'. It's a romance and idol-like drama which is so touching and sweet :D Worth watching! I'm sure a lot of people would agree with me that the episode for this show is too short ><>
I think is a older drama called 'My fair lady'. It's very nice and it's about a rich woman and a butler. Weird right? It is not! Haha.. U'll understand when u watch! Highly recommended! It also only have 16 episodes. So short, so sad(again).

Annyeong! Haha.. Another update on Orange orange class jersey! Orange lover's C218! =D Haha.. Found time to take a class photo of everyone! Annyeong people! Haha.. Will be quite busy for the days to come, but anyways, Went to Pulau Tekong on 18 Nov '09, yesterday! Haha.. It was fun! Eating ration food, tell you the truth, the food is great man! Maybe bcoz we were hungry or what =X Took the ferry at Changi and on the ferry, there was a lot of funny things going on. ^^ Reached and had a talk and went over the place from the recruits' bunk to the obstacle course. I had the chance to try out one of the obstacle. The low wall, but not low at all. It is around 180cm. So if u can imagine jumping over me, that'll be jumping over the low wall. Jumped over it easily but for the soldiers they have to carry 15kg and jump. Not easy, isn't it. Alright, photos taken and we were wearing our class jersey for the first time! Enjoy!

Annyeong! Haha.. Finally, after 6 days of waiting, my first class jersey is completed! Haha.. Went to Pennisular to collect today. Met my classmates at 1130 but some were late. Reached city hall MRT station at around 12++. Walked over to the store with expectations and anxiety. The time taken for them to take out the shirt was 10 seconds. But it was like slow-motion for me =X Anyway, firstly, I checked my own shirt to see whether there's problem. Thankfully there isn't. Overall it was pretty good except for LeeQin's shirt which is named as LeeQuin. -.- We went for lunch before returning as the shirt needed time to be changed. Had Teppan Curry Chicken. So expensive! Costed $4.80! Then walked around Funan IT Mall before returning. Collected and took the train back to Tampines =_= everyone was tired and our lessons haven't even started! Once reached school, gave out the jersey and Nicholas was the first to put it on. He loved it! Alright, time for pictures, isn't it?

Well. I went to my aunt's house today. Woke up extremely early. 8:40am! Will be going again tomorrow. Arh~~ Must wake up early again~ T.T Anyway. While we were on our way, my dad suddenly questioned me and mum, "Why do lightning & thunder occur?". Wow. Stunned me. It was a really interesting question.
Hmm. All i knew was that it invovles charges at 1st. So. I went to surf on the net for the answer to the question. And i got the answer. really amazing. I learnt about a tornado too. XD Involves rising air(updraft), moisture thingy and wind energy coming from different directions. The difference in direction kinda cause a circulating movement of air and the updraft tilts the "channel" of the wind from horizontal to vertical --> creates the vertical tornado. XD cool right. I also learnt that lightning defies the law of gravity and has no mass. XD precautions to take. blah blah blah. And that u can get electrocuted even though u are inside a building due to conductors of electricity around us which carries the current. I learnt how to calculate how far a thunderstorm is and whether if it is safe to stay outdoors. What to do when caught outdoors. And that the myth saying a lightning can nvr strike an exact place twice to be false. I also learnt why lightning tend to strike tall objects. Something about lower distance from the charges on ground/object and from cloud > less air resistance > electricity would travel in that path which has lower resistance > tall objects. LOL. Very summarised there. I learnt a lot more about precautions and stuff. XD shall stop talking about that. If not i'll go on and on.
Okay. I was very crazy over SuperJunior. But i guess i've run out of videos. So. I tried Big Bang my friend likes and always introduce me to. I tried it partly because there's this Big Bang member in Family Outing. And i kinda like him cause he's really funny and well-mannered. So~~~ Now im a lil crazy over Big Bang~ XD Gee. I like G-dragon , Daesung , Taeyang & T.O.P mroe . XD meaning i like Seungri less in short. LOL. G-dragon's really cute when he's shy. He's really talented too. Daesung's the funny guy I've just mentioned. He has really nice smile. And his personality is really good. He's a very fun guy to be with. Ahh~ T.O.P is very charismatic. Very manly voice. Very good-looking. Extremely nice eys~ I wish i had eyes like his. =/ Taeyang's a very good singer. Very nice voice. Seungri's always confident with himself i guess? XD They got really nice songsssssssss. But sometimes when they dance they're quite messy. SuperJunior's very neat though they've got 13members. XD

People who become blind after birth can see images in their dreams. People who are born blind do not see any images, but have dreams equally vivid involving their other senses of sound, smell, touch and emotion. It is hard for a seeing person to imagine, but the body’s need for sleep is so strong that it is able to handle virtually all physical situations to make it happen.2. You Forget 90% of your Dreams
Within 5 minutes of waking, half of your dream if forgotten. Within 10, 90% is gone. The famous poet, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, woke one morning having had a fantastic dream (likely opium induced) – he put pen to paper and began to describe his “vision in a dream” in what has become one of English’s most famous poems: Kubla Khan. Part way through (54 lines in fact) he was interrupted by a “Person from Porlock“. Coleridge returned to his poem but could not remember the rest of his dream. The poem was never completed.

Curiously, Robert Louis Stevenson came up with the story of Doctor Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde whilst he was dreaming. Wikipedia has more on that here. Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein was also the brainchild of a dream.
3. Everybody Dreams
Every human being dreams (except in cases of extreme psychological disorder) but men and women have different dreams and different physical reactions. Men tend to dream more about other men, while women tend to dream equally about men and women. In addition, both men and women experience sexually related physical reactions to their dreams regardless of whether the dream is sexual in nature; males experience erections and females experience increased vaginal blood flow.
4. Dreams Prevent Psychosis
In a recent sleep study, students who were awakened at the beginning of each dream, but still allowed their 8 hours of sleep, all experienced difficulty in concentration, irritability, hallucinations, and signs of psychosis after only 3 days. When finally allowed their REM sleep the student’s brains made up for lost time by greatly increasing the percentage of sleep spent in the REM stage. 5. We Only Dream of What We Know
Our dreams are frequently full of strangers who play out certain parts – did you know that your mind is not inventing those faces – they are real faces of real people that you have seen during your life but may not know or remember? The evil killer in your latest dream may be the guy who pumped petrol in to your Dad’s car when you were just a little kid. People also tend to have common themes in dreams, which are situations relating to school, being chased, running slowly/in place, sexual experiences, falling, arriving too late, a person now alive being dead, teeth falling out, flying, failing an examination, or a car accident. It is unknown whether the impact of a dream relating to violence or death is more emotionally charged for a person whodreams in color than one who dreams in black and white.

If you dream about some particular subject it is not often that the dream is about that. Dreams speak in a deeply symbolic language. The unconscious mind tries to compare your dream to something else, which is similar. Its like writing a poem and saying that a group of ants were like machines that never stop. But you would never compare something to itself, for example: “That beautiful sunset was like a beautiful sunset”. So whatever symbol your dream picks on it is most unlikely to be a symbol for itself.
People who have smoked cigarettes for a long time who stop, have reported much more vivid dreams than they would normally experience. Additionally, according to the Journal of Abnormal Psychology: “Among 293 smokers abstinent for between 1 and 4 weeks, 33% reported having at least 1 dream about smoking. In most dreams, subjects caught themselves smoking and felt strong negative emotions, such as panic and guilt. Dreams about smoking were the result of tobacco withdrawal, as 97% of subjects did not have them while smoking, and their occurrence was significantly related to the duration of abstinence. They were rated as more vivid than the usual dreams and were as common as most major tobacco withdrawal symptoms.”

This is called Dream Incorporation and it is the experience that most of us have had where a sound from reality is heard in our dream and incorporated in some way. A similar (though less external) example would be when you are physically thirsty and your mind incorporates that feeling in to your dream. My ownexperience of this includes repeatedly drinking a large glass of water in the dream which satisfies me, only to find the thirst returning shortly after – this thirst… drink… thirst… loop often recurs until I wake up and have a real drink. The famous painting above (Dream Caused by the Flight of a Bee around a Pomegranate a Second Before Awakening) by Salvador Dali, depicts this concept.

Believe it or not, your body is virtually paralyzed during your sleep – most likely to prevent your body from acting out aspects of yourdreams. 2. Toddlers do not dream about themselves until around the age of 3. From the same age, children typically have many more nightmares than adults do until age 7 or 8.

Hello there, Dai here. Firstly, I wanna congrats Xuan from surviving through 'O' levels. Yeah, it's her last day today. She's free for at least 3 months I guess. Good life. It's been awhile since anyone blogged. So I guess I should blog something. I guess this post will be quite random. Hmm.. Anyway, since Xuan is free now, I supposed she'll take charge in blogging o.o
I wonder what should I blog ~.~ Hmmm.. Let's see what do I have in my album. Since we're talking about O levels, I know what to talk abt and I think I have a lot of things to talk about. =X
ART DURING SEC 5
Guess what's this? xD Haha.. Looks complicated right? It's call an art piece =X I'm the owner of this art piece by the way. Yeah, it's something to be proud of, spend about 7 to 8 months doing this and stayed back almost everyday. Thanks to Ms Leng[Ah leng], was able to finish it. I'm totally happy as the outcome of the art piece was to my liking even though the results don't.
During my sec 5 life, stayed back often, like 3 times per week touching up on this art piece. But staying back usually combined with slack xD Bryan, Junhao and me usually stayed back together and do our work and at the same time, crap and play around. It was fun making Junhao! He and shiyu[Xiao mei mei] =X He knows we're joking so he always joke around also! Ah leng usually would nag us to do our work. She's born in the year of the tiger and we always call her 母老虎! Her reaction always trigger our laughter xD Mondays was our Long art period, starting from 1240 all the way to 230. But we usually stayed back till 5 or so. So, we always negotiate with ah leng to go have our lunch during school hours and she always cannot do anything about it and most of the time would follow us to have lunch[Corrupted teacher isn't it?] xD
We would usually joke around and do our work at the same time. Blasting music and stuff like that is a common sight too xD We would usually shout across the class or wad to ask things. Chaos in art room xD Also, the room that stored the materials is quite far away as it is located at the end of art room 2. We used art room 1. Hence, we need to walk over and shout to confirm things. There's also a balcony in the art room. The purpose was to wash stuffs and dry art pieces. But we took it as a place to sleep and a place to find "ling gan". We usually have another period on fridays but that is usually used for chatting and slacking, resting or eating[Played bball for recess] xD
Not forgetting the day we went to URA Gallery to collect our certificate in partcipating in the Marina Bay Art competition. Bryan and I took cab there. After the collection, we went around Singapore in Leng's car and it was amazing man! But leng was driving so slow on the expressway that we complaint. She said," Safety first." Hilarious! We suaned her like, I ride a bicycle faster than u driving car ar! Haha.. Went to settle our late lunch at Katong eating katong laksa =P After that went to other places too. Okay, It had became a very long post. I'll stop here.

Yea, I don't think I need to explain anything I guess. We lost to IITSC Basketball Team by 2 points. Damn disappointed. Didn't get enough ball and the stupid PG got the ball stolen at the most critical moment.[30 secs left and we're down by 1] I believe I could score when I get the ball. I had scored 3 3pointers already and he want to end with a 1v1. Wth was he thinking? I was so open and he didn't give me the ball. Got 10 points from the game. Adding one free throw. Wasn't enough I guess. Kj played really well today and I am proud of him. The only disappointment was only the critical moment. Damn.
